I haven't tried the new version of iPhoto '08 yet, but I'm hoping that it has a real photo editor so you can do an enhancement that is different from the last iPhoto. Does Mac have something in the works that is similar to Photoshop rather than the unimpressive last version? I've been so frustrated about lack of essence of iPhoto and I'm hoping that it doesn't stay the same or get worse. If anyone knows....Can you highlight areas vs. the whole photo and adjust the specific area alone or only in regards as a whole?
iPhoto is still a very basic photo organizer and editor. It is not intended to be anything approaching Photoshop, which is what you need. I would suggest looking into Photoshop Elements 6 which was recently released for the Mac, and is not nearly as expensive as full Photoshop. Can you highlight areas vs. the whole photo and adjust the specific area alone or only in regards as a whole?
